Measurements
Accurate measurements are required before production begins.
Before you start:
- use a flexible measuring tape
- have a second person assist (recommended)
- wear fitted base layers (no bulky clothing)
Measurements must reflect your riding posture, not a relaxed standing position.
Key measurement areas include:
- chest, waist, hips
- torso length (front and back)
- arm length and circumference
- leg length and inseam
- knee and elbow positioning
Submit all measurements together.
Incomplete or inconsistent data will delay validation.
All measurements are reviewed and confirmed before patterning begins
before producton
What Happens Next
After you submit your measurements:
- Measurements are reviewed and validated
- Any inconsistencies are flagged
- Corrections are requested if needed
- Final measurements are approved
Common Mistakes
Incorrect measurements are the most common cause of delays.
Typical issues:
- measuring over loose or thick clothing
- incorrect tape placement
- inconsistent posture
- missing required measurements
- estimating instead of measuring
These issues require re-measurement and will extend timelines.
